Frequently Asked Questions
Do these restrictions apply to my citizenship or my residency?
Both. While your permanent residency is crucial, your citizenship is also taken into account. If either you’re a citizen or your permanent residence is tied to a restricted country, you cannot open or hold a Solo Clash account.
I am a citizen of a restricted country but I permanently live in an eligible one. Can I trade?
No. To be eligible, neither your citizenship nor your permanent residency can be from a restricted country—both conditions must be met simultaneously.
Can I trade while travelling in a restricted country?
Eligibility follows your country of residence, not your temporary location, so a holiday does not remove your access. However, connecting from a restricted country may trigger a compliance review, and our data providers may block the connection at their end. We recommend that you do not trade while physically located in a restricted country.
I live in a restricted country but I am currently abroad. Can I trade?
No. If your permanent residence is in a restricted country, you cannot access Solo Clash services from anywhere.
Why are these countries restricted? Is this a Solo Clash decision?
No. These lists come from the third parties we depend on to deliver the product: the exchange data and the instruments you trade, our market data and charting. Where a provider or an applicable sanctions programme will not serve a country, we cannot provide access there.
My country appears on both a trading restriction list and the payment list. What applies?
The trading restriction takes precedence. If a country is ineligible to trade, no account can be opened, so the payment method is not relevant.
Can I pay with a card issued in a different country?
Card restrictions follow the issuing country of the card and its billing address rather than your residence, so a card you legitimately hold from a non-restricted country will work. Payment must come from the account holder — using someone else's card is a breach of our KYC and AML requirements.
⚠️ This list can change at any time based on updates from brokerages, regulations and other circumstances.
