Liquid Evaluation Rules

Every rule you must follow to pass the Liquid evaluation — profit targets, drawdown limits, the daily loss limit, consistency, news restrictions, and the 14-day inactivity limit.

Written by Oliver

The Liquid Evaluation is where you demonstrate disciplined, consistent trading before advancing to the Express Phase. You trade a simulated futures account and must satisfy all of the following conditions.

Liquid adds a hard daily loss limit — the rule that most distinguishes it from Legacy and Limitless. Reaching it ends the account immediately, regardless of how much room remains in your overall drawdown.

Profit Target — 6%

You must reach the profit target for your account size. Profits are calculated based on your closed positions.

Max — $150,000

Minimum Trading Days

You must trade on a minimum of 3 separate calendar days before your evaluation can be completed. There is no maximum — you may take as long as you need, provided you satisfy the inactivity limit below.

Consistency Rule — 40%

No single trading day may account for more than 40% of your profit target. This applies throughout the entire evaluation.

Example: On a $50,000 account, your profit target is $3,000. No single day may contribute more than $1,200 in profit toward that target. Profits earned beyond $1,200 will result in a larger profit target.

End-of-Day Max Drawdown — Trailing

Your account carries a trailing end-of-day (EOD) drawdown. The drawdown floor moves up as your account balance increases, but never moves down. The percentage tightens as account size increases.

For a full explanation of how this works, see [EOD Trailing Drawdown Explained].

Daily Drawdown— Hard Breach

Liquid accounts carry a daily loss limit in addition to the EOD drawdown, set at half your maximum drawdown. Reaching it is a hard breach: the account is lost immediately, even if your overall drawdown floor has not been reached.

The daily loss limit is measured on your intraday equity, which means unrealised loss on open positions counts toward it. You do not have to close a trade for it to breach your account. For a full explanation, see [Daily Drawdown Explained].

News Trading — Allowed

There are no news trading restrictions in the Liquid program. You may open, hold, and scale positions freely during any scheduled news event.

Contract Limits

During the Evaluation phase, fixed contract limits apply. Micro contracts count toward your limit at 10 micros to 1 E-Mini.

Once you enter the Express Phase, these fixed limits are replaced by the [Contract Scaling Plan], which starts lower and increases with your profits.

Account Limit — 5 Active

You may hold a maximum of 5 active Liquid accounts at any one time, across all phases.

Inactivity Limit — 14 Days

Your account must record at least one filled trade every 14 days. The clock starts on activation and restarts on each execution. If the window passes with no trade, the account closes. A reset can be purchased at a reduced price — see [Account Sizes & Pricing].

Passing the Evaluation

Your evaluation is complete when all of the following are true:

  • Profit target has been reached

  • At least 3 trading days have been completed

  • The 40% consistency rule has been respected on every day

  • The EOD drawdown has not been breached at any point

  • The daily loss limit has not been reached on any day

  • All news trading restrictions have been followed

  • Contract limits have not been exceeded

  • The inactivity window has not expired

Once every condition is met, you advance to the Liquid Express Phase automatically.
