Legacy Evaluation Rules

Every rule you must follow to pass the Legacy evaluation — profit targets, drawdown limits, consistency, news restrictions, and the 30-day time limit.

Written by Roland

The Legacy Evaluation is where you demonstrate disciplined, consistent trading before advancing to the Express Phase. You trade a simulated futures account and must satisfy all of the following conditions within 30 days.

Profit Target

You must reach the profit target for your account size. Profits are calculated based on your closed positions.

Account

Profit Target

Starter — $25,000

$1,500

Lite — $50,000

$3,000

Pro — $100,000

$6,000

Max — $150,000

$9,000

Minimum Trading Days

You must trade on a minimum of 2 separate calendar days before your evaluation can be completed. There is no maximum — you may take as long as you need within the 30-day window.

Consistency Rule — 50%

No single trading day may account for more than 50% of your profit target. This applies throughout the entire evaluation.

Example: On a $50,000 account, your profit target is $3,000. No single day may contribute more than $1,500 in profit toward that target. Profits earned beyond $1,500 will result in a larger profit target.

This rule rewards steady, repeatable performance over a single large day.

End-of-Day Max Drawdown — 4% (Trailing)

Your account carries a 4% trailing end-of-day (EOD) drawdown across all account sizes. The drawdown floor moves up as your account balance increases, but never moves down.

For a full explanation of how this works, see [EOD Trailing Drawdown Explained].

News Trading — Restricted

You may not open, hold, or scale any position 2 minutes before, during, or 2 minutes after a designated high-impact news event. This applies to all Red Folder events.

For the full list of restricted events and how they are defined, see [News Trading Restrictions].

Contract Limits

You must stay within the maximum contract limit for your account size at all times.

Time Limit — 30 Days

You have 30 calendar days from account activation to satisfy all evaluation requirements. If the evaluation is not completed within this window, the account closes. A reset can be purchased at a reduced price — see [Account Sizes & Pricing].

Passing the Evaluation

Your evaluation is complete when all of the following are true:

  1. Profit target has been reached

  2. At least 2 trading days have been completed

  3. The 50% consistency rule has been respected on every day

  4. The EOD drawdown has not been breached at any point

  5. All news trading restrictions have been followed

  6. Contract limits have not been exceeded

  7. The 30-day window has not expired

Once every condition is met, you advance to the Legacy Express Phase automatically.
